Terrible vehicle
By Ahmad Nadaf | on Tuesday, August 06, 2024
Sadly Toyota managed to screw one of the best vehicles in the market. Had issues with it from day one, back axel fell off at 3000 miles, front CV blown up at 18000 miles, engine rattling and oil leak at 28k miles final engine stalled and caught on fire. Terrible vehicle for 74k dollars. Now waiting at the dealer for new engine. Just don’t understand why they moved from v8 to v6 twin turbo… - 1.0
BIG MISTAKE
Sunday, September 01, 2024
I had been a Toyota fan for 40 years, I owned more than 30 Toyotas in my life span. In less than 1 year, I owned a 2023 and a 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition, this is a $70K fully loaded truck. The truck is beautiful appointed but it is plagued with problems and Toyota is well awarded and hasn’t done anything to fixi it and keep those customers HAPPY. My 2023 Tundra, I took it to the dealer more the 7 times with issues with small vibration in the steering, check engine light. Since Toyota didn’t care about my concerns, I gave them another chance and traded it with only 6K miles for a 2024 Tundra 1794 edition. The issues with the steering column was resolved but now had issues with the NOISY BRAKES. I had been to the dealer 4 times in less than 2 months, it only has 1700 miles. It is a total embarrassment to be driving this truck with noisy brakes, toyota is well aware of the issues and have thousands of 2023 and 2024 Tundras with the same issue. I contacted Toyota customer service, it is well documented but they haven’t done anything about it and I am looking to sue Toyota for selling a vehicle plagued with problems. I had multiple messages on the dashboard to take the vehicle to ref dealer, check engine light, faulty brakes, etc. Trust me, DON’T buy a 2023 or 2024 TUNDRA, sooner or later will start having issues. TOYOTA, dropped the ball on this one and they are well aware of it. IT IS AN EMBARRASSMENT to drive this truck around with NOISY BRAKES, I’ve recorded videos to prove it. I even had to park it and only use 2 days in the week.… - 2.0
Underwhelming
By Angel Q | on Monday, July 29, 2024
Toyota has let faithful customers down. The car itself performs well, but the quality is severely lacking. The vehicle is plagued with rattles: the windows make wind noise and can’t be left partially open due to the risk of breaking, the doors rattle, the panoramic roof rattles, the center console rattles, and the roof panel rattles. Additionally, the driver’s seat squeaks louder than any other car I've owned. The transmission is clunky, and the throttle response is so delayed it feels like a safety hazard. On top of that, for $70k, you get a truck without app services unless you pay for a subscription, which feels like a blatant cash grab. I'm extremely disappointed with Toyota.…
